Editorial Policy
SuncoastTrim publishes homeowner guides to explain finish-carpentry choices, project planning, and Southwest Florida conditions in plain language.
Who writes and reviews the guides
Drew Lippincott, founder of SuncoastTrim, is the named author of the site's articles. Content should be reviewed for alignment with the company's actual residential trim scope before publication. Material or product guidance should remain general unless the exact product and its manufacturer instructions have been verified.
Sources and project-specific advice
Articles may draw on manufacturer installation instructions, building-science references, public agency information, and practical finish-carpentry considerations. Sources should be linked when a claim depends on an outside authority. The guides are educational and do not replace an inspection, a written estimate, product instructions, code review, or advice from an appropriate licensed professional.
Local claims and service claims
Location pages must describe an actual service area and must not invent completed projects, neighborhood experience, response times, customer reviews, prices, credentials, or permits. A new city or neighborhood page should not be indexed until it contains verified local proof or genuinely distinct information for that area.
Images
Editorial and planning images may illustrate a trim style, material, or room concept; they are not proof of a completed SuncoastTrim project unless the page clearly identifies them as verified project photography. Before-and-after claims, customer homes, and testimonials should be published only with approval and accurate context.
Corrections and updates
If an article contains an inaccurate service claim, unsafe recommendation, incorrect product statement, broken source, or misleading image, it should be corrected or removed. Readers can report a concern by calling or texting (941) 941-9117 or using the contact form.
